Breast Surgery

Breast Surgery
The evaluation of benign (non-cancerous), and malignant, (cancerous) disorders of the breast. This could include breast exam, reviewing of mammography, and surgery. Each patient is an individual and all care plans are implemented according to specific needs. Diagnosis and treatment options should be discussed on a case by case basis.

Bowel Surgery

Bowel Surgery
Evaluation and surgical treatment of non-cancerous conditions, such as diverticular disease, and cancerous disease, such as tumors or colon cancer.

Cancer Surgery

Cancer Surgery
Evaluation and surgical treatment of cancerous disease in various sites.

Endocrine Surgery

Endocrine Surgery
Evaluation and surgical treatment of the endocrine system. Included are the thyroid, adrenal glands, and pancreas.

Laparoscopic Surgery

Laparoscopic Surgery
We are now in a new era of modern surgery. With the development of cameras and video equipment, it is now possible to approach almost every part of the human body in a minimal invasive way. Instead of making a large cut into the skin and underlying muscles, surgeons can now make small entry ports into the area of interest and perform procedures previously done when a large opening was present. Though most have heard of gallbladder surgery by this means, the stomach, intestines, pancreas and spleen, kidneys and all female organs can also be approached in this manner.

Reflux Surgery

Reflux Surgery
Repeated bouts of heartburn and sour tasting fluid in your throat are common symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease, (also known as GERD). Without treatment, GERD can lead to serious problems, even cancer.

Hernia / Abdominal Wall Reconstruction

Hernias / Abdominal Wall Reconstruction
A hernia is the protrusion of an organ or the fascia of an organ through the wall of the cavity that normally contains it.
